Carving Spoons

I've never carved a spoon until today. I just had some carving tools that I had recently purchased and today was the day I was going to learn how to carve a dang spoon. The first lesson I learned was not to carve ANYTHING without some sort of protection for my hands. A tough lesson to learn, as I sliced my hand open several times already. These knives are flippin sharp, man. My first spoon was cute, short, and boring. So my second spoon was long, weird, and... weird. It was a ton of fun and I have so many more things I want to carve now!
