Identifying Ford Small Block Cranks
Crankshaft in hand you're wondering to yourself, what flippin rotating assembly is this part of? 289? 302? Sure you could measure the stroke with a caliper, but if you've got the engine apart right now, odds are that you're not wanting to put it together to measure the stroke.So just check the casting numbers!
